Rockstar X-Games

Back on August 1st DiNG co-hosted the Rockstar X-Games party. Trouble Andrew and N.E.R.D preformed at the event at the Avalon in Hollywood. The day got kicked off early for us at DiNG getting the VIP entrance all setup with banners, gobo lights, photowall and a million other things. The crowds started lining up around 12 and by the time we opened the doors the line wrapped all the way out to Hollywood Blvd. We handed out $20 DiNG Gift Certificates, pins, guitar picks, tshirts and hats to all the people waiting in line. Everyone was pretty stoked getting free swag while waiting.

Trouble Andrew went on first and as we all expected, killed it! Next up was N.E.R.D. it the performance was absolutely amazing. At one point Pharrell started pulling fans out of the crowd onto stage. They danced on stage for almost 2 full songs until one of the guys on stage started taking photos which ended that fun pretty quick. Yes they did preform Rockstar at the show and it was awesome!

After the performance we headed up stairs to the VIP Afterparty. Can anyone say free drinks and food? Hell yea! The drinks did the job of getting us drunk and the food was delicious. We partied late into the night and all spilled out onto Vine around 2:30 only to be greeted by the smell of bacon wrapped hot dogs (you know you love them) which we all needed to adsorb some of the alcohol. Comedy ensused as Rob aka Chet Pendergrass (his alter ego) made an apperance and taunted intern Sam. Awsome event and a big thanks to everyone at DiNG, Rockstar, N.E.R.D, Trouble Andrew, Ford, MSR, Dragon and the Metal Mulisha. For more photos check us out on Facebook or MySpace.
